North Downs Way

The North Downs Way National Trail is a long-distance path in southern England, opened in 1978. It runs from Farnham to Dover, past Godalming, Guildford, Dorking, Merstham, Otford and Rochester, along the Surrey Hills Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB) and Kent Downs AONB. West Malling railway station

West Malling railway station lies to the east of West Malling, Kent, England and is close to Kings Hill, Larkfield and Leybourne. The station, and all trains serving it, is operated by Southeastern. The ticket office at the station is manned for most of the day. There are self-service Scheidt and Bachmann ticket machines on both platforms.

Addington, Kent

Addington is a village in the English county of Kent close to the M20 motorway between Wrotham Heath and West Malling. It was known as Eddintune in the Domesday Book. The meaning of Addington is Æddi's (or Eadda's) estate. Addington is notable for Addington long barrow and the Chestnuts long barrow, which are Neolithic chamber tombs in the village.

Addington long barrow

Addington long barrow is a badly damaged Neolithic chambered long barrow near Addington in the English county of Kent. It is one of a group of monuments known as the Medway megaliths. It is rectangular long barrow measures 61 metres in length and varies from 14 metres to 11 metres in width as it narrows. It is oriented northeast–southwest. The edge of the barrow is marked by a kerb and the remains of the chamber may be indicated by a number of fallen stones at the northeastern end.
