Estadio Mario Alberto Kempes

The Estadio Mario Alberto Kempes, formerly known as Estadio Córdoba and popularly Estadio Olímpico Chateau Carreras, is a stadium in the Chateau Carreras neighborhood of Córdoba, Argentina. The stadium was built in 1976 in preparation for the 1978 World Cup. It has capacity for 46,083 spectators although it doesn't provide seating for all of them, like many Argentine stadiums.

Orfeo Superdomo

The Orfeo Superdome is an indoor sports arena, located in Córdoba, Argentina. The seating capacity of the arena is 14,000 and is primarily used for basketball, volleyball and tennis. Its opening was on 6 September 2002, with a concert by rock band Divididos. It's also the venue for most concerts in Córdoba and some of Asociación Deportiva Atenas basketball team matches. On 24 January 2010, Orfeo Superdome hosted a concert by Metallica, which sold out after a few hours of being announced.

Primero River

The Primero River (in Spanish Río Primero), also known as Suquía (the name used by the Comechingones, the indigenous people), runs through the city of Córdoba, Argentina. The tributaries of the Primero (mainly the San Roque and Cosquín rivers) flow into the San Roque Reservoir; from there, the Primero goes east into the plains surrounding the city of Córdoba.

Battle of San Roque

The Battle of San Roque was part of the Argentine Civil War. It was fought on the Primero River, near the city of Córdoba, Argentina, on 22 April 1829. The Federalist forces of Córdoba Province governor Juan Bautista Bustos were defeated by the Unitarian forces of General José María Paz. As a result of his victory, Paz assumed the office of provincial Governor.

San Roque Lake

The San Roque Lake is a reservoir (artificial lake) in the province of Córdoba, Argentina. It was created by the damming of several rivers, especially the Suquía and the Cosquín. It is located next to the city of Villa Carlos Paz, about 600 m above mean sea level. It has a surface area of 16 km², an average depth of 16 m, and a maximum volume of 180 million m³. The dam was initially built to provide fresh water for the capital and its surroundings.
