Roldán, Santa Fe

Roldán is a small city in the province of Santa Fe, Argentina, located within the metropolitan area of Greater Rosario. According to the 2001 census, it had a population of 11,470 inhabitants. Its area is 114 km². Roldán is about 23 km east of the center of the city of Rosario, within the San Lorenzo Department, beside the National Route 9 and the Rosario-Córdoba Highway. It was founded in 1870, and officially became a city in 1987. In 2005, the Mayor of Roldán was José María Pedretti.

The airport covers an area of 550 ha and is operated by the Province of Santa Fe. The airport serves the Greater Rosario area and is the main hub for Sol Líneas Aéreas and is also served by Aerolíneas Argentinas, Gol Transportes Aéreos and LAN Argentina.

Antártida Argentina railway station

Antártida Argentina railway station is a former railway station located in Rosario, province of Santa Fe, Argentina, in the western neighbourhood of Fisherton (intersection of Morrison Avenue and Wilde St.). The railroad and the station, then known as Fisherton Station, were built by the company Ferrocarril Central Argentino, of British origin, at the beginning of the 1890s. The neighbourhood, originally built to house the company's workers, grew around the station.
