Blighty, New South Wales

Blighty is a small town in the Riverina region of New South Wales, Australia. The town lies on the Riverina Highway between the towns of Finley and Deniliquin. It is located in the Conargo Shire Council local government area. At the 2006 census, Blighty and the surrounding area had a population of 335. Blighty Post Office opened on 16 February 1926 and closed in 1932. It reopened in 1956 and closed again in 1991.

Warragoon, New South Wales

Warragoon is a small community in the central part of the Riverina. It is situated by road, about 11 kilometres north west from Tuppal and 14 kilometres south west from Blighty. At the 2006 census, Warragoon had a population of 302. Warragoon has a public school situated on the Riverina Highway.

Mayrung, New South Wales

Mayrung is a community in the central part of the Riverina about 55 kilometres east of Pretty Pine and 40 kilometres north-east of Deniliquin. The Wiradjuri Aborigines, who inhabited the district prior to white settlement, called it 'Carawatha', which is thought to mean 'place of pines'. Mayrung is situated within the Berriquin Irrigation Area which supplies wool, wheat, fat lambs, rice, dairy products, vegetables, cereals, cattle and pigs.
