Cobargo, New South Wales

Cobargo is a village in the south-east area of the state of New South Wales in Australia in Bega Valley Shire. In 2006, Cobargo had a population of 426 people. It is 386 km south of Sydney on the Princes Highway between Narooma and Bega. Cobargo's streetscape features many turn of the century buildings. It has developed in the last decade from a sleepy village into a popular tourist destination.

Gulaga National Park

Gulaga is a national park on the south coast of New South Wales, Australia. The park was created in 2001. It is 46.73 km² in area. The park forms part of the Ulladulla to Merimbula Important Bird Area, identified as such by BirdLife International because of its importance for Swift Parrots. On 6 May 2006 the freehold titles to Gulaga and Biamanga National Parks were handed back to the Yuin people by the New South Wales Government.

Mount Gulaga

Mount Gulaga (formerly known as Mount Dromedary) is one of the highest mountains on the south coast of New South Wales, Australia. It rises above the village of Central Tilba and is within the Gulaga National Park. At its highest point, it measures 806 meters above sea level.

Tilba, New South Wales

Central Tilba and Tilba Tilba are two villages in Eurobodalla Shire, New South Wales, Australia. At the 2006 census, Central Tilba had a population of 223 people, and Tilba Tilba had a population of 275 people. The area was originally inhabited by the Yuin Aboriginal tribe. Tilba is said to mean wind in the Yuin language. Others have said the word is a Thawa Aboriginal term for 'many waters'. The town was settled during the Australian gold rushes of the nineteenth century.
