Jerrys Plains, New South Wales

Jerrys Plains is a village in the Hunter Valley in New South Wales, Australia about 33 kilometres west of Singleton on the Golden Highway. The surrounding countryside is home to some substantial horse breeding properties, notably the Australian branch of Ireland's giant Coolmore Stud, as well as viticulture and coal mining.

Wonnarua

The Wonnarua people, a group of indigenous people of Australia, are those Australian Aborigines that were united by a common language, strong ties of kinship and survived as skilled hunter–fisher–gatherers in family groups or clans scattered along the inland area of what is now known as the Upper Hunter Valley, New South Wales, Australia. Their traditional territory spreads from the Upper Hunter River, near Maitland west to the Great Dividing Range, towards Wollombi.

Ravensworth railway station

Ravensworth was a railway station on the Main North railway line in New South Wales. It opened in 1869, initially as Camberwell, and closed to passenger services in 1975. It was an island platform and was subsequently completely demolished after closure.

Camberwell, New South Wales

Camberwell is a small village just off the New England Highway in the Hunter Valley region of New South Wales, Australia. It is 196 kilometres north of Sydney and 15 kilometres northwest of Singleton in Singleton Shire. The village has an historic Anglican church, St Clements, which was opened in 1844. The area also has numerous open-cut mining operations. The placename almost certainly refers to Camberwell, a district in London, England.

Lake Liddell
