Edithburgh, South Australia

Edithburgh is a small town on the south-east corner of Yorke Peninsula in South Australia. Edithburgh is about 50 km west of Adelaide across Gulf St Vincent, but 226 km away by road. At the 2006 census, the town had a population of 395. Edithburgh has a jetty which, like many others on Yorke Peninsula, was once used to load grain and unload supplies for the town, but is now used mostly for recreational fishing and is a popular scuba diving site.

Port Giles, South Australia

Port Giles is the newest port on Yorke Peninsula in South Australia, between Stansbury and Edithburgh. Port Giles is not a town, but simply a large jetty equipped for bulk handling of grain, operated by Flinders Ports, and a similarly large grain storage facility operated by ABB Grain. It was opened by the then Premier of South Australia, Steele Hall in 1970, and led to the closure of many of the smaller ports on the peninsula.

Coobowie, South Australia

Coobowie is a small town at the south-eastern tip of Yorke Peninsula, South Australia. Coobowie was proclaimed in 1875. Coobowie comes from an Aboriginal word meaning "wild fowl water". At the 2006 census, Coobowie had a population of 408. Coobowies current outlook is to create many new features, including a new visitor information pull in being built. "Blooms n Bakes" cafe was open at the end of 2012, providing people with healthier, or decadent food choices. The cafe also has a florist.

Troubridge Island is a small sandy island lying about 7 km east of Sultana Point on the Yorke Peninsula at the south-western end of Gulf St Vincent, South Australia. It is important as a seabird colony site.

Wool Bay, South Australia

Wool Bay is a small town on the east coast of southern Yorke Peninsula in South Australia. Wool Bay is 215 kilometres by road from Adelaide and approximately 70 kilometres west of Adelaide across Gulf St Vincent. The coast at Wool Bay consists of cliffs with a sandy beach at their base. There is an old lime kiln in the cliffs above the jetty. Wool Bay has a jetty which was used for loading lime onto boats, but is now used only for recreational fishing and recreational scuba diving.
