Lemnos, Victoria

Lemnos is a locality in the Goulburn Valley region of Victoria, Australia, on the outskirts of the regional city of Shepparton. At the 2006 census, Lemnos had a population of 369. The locality was established in 1927 as a soldier settlement zone after the First World War. It was named by Ernest Hill a returned soldier after the Greek island of Lemnos where Allied soldiers stopped on their way to Gallipoli.

Shepparton railway station

Shepparton is a railway station in the city of Shepparton, Victoria, Australia. Located on the Goulburn Valley railway, the station is the terminus of V/Line Shepparton Line passenger services. The station is located in Purcell Street, and has a passenger platform on the east side of the line, and a goods platform on the west side, in addition to a 725 metre long crossing loop.

Shepparton High School

Shepparton High School (SHS) is a public secondary school in Shepparton, Victoria, Australia. The school was founded in 1909 as Shepparton Agricultural High School and was one of the first High Schools built in Victoria during that era. In 2009 Shepparton High School had approximately 950 students enrolled.

Deakin Reserve

Deakin Reserve is a cricket ground in Shepparton, Victoria, Australia. The first recorded match held on the ground came in 1962 when Victoria Country played the Marylebone Cricket Club. A Youth Test match was held in December 1986 when Australia Under-19s played Indian Under-19s. A Youth One Day International was later held there in November 1997 when Australia Under-19s played Pakistan Under-19s.
