Picola is a town in northern Victoria, Australia. The town is located in the Shire of Moira local government area, 246 kilometres from the state capital, Melbourne. At the 2006 census, Picola had a population of 754. Picola Post Office opened on 24 August 1878 and closed in late 2010. The Australia Post outlet was for a short time taken over by the Picola Hotel, until early 2011. The hotel remains a community postal agent.

Yalca

Yalca is a locality in northern Victoria, Australia in the local government area of the Shire of Moira. Yalca post office opened on 9 September 1879, and closed on 23 August 1957. Yalca East State School post office opened in 1902, was renamed Yalca East in 1906 and closed in 1907. Yalca North Post Office opened in 1902 and was closed in 1930.

Bearii is located 252 kilometres north of the state capital, Melbourne, 18 kilometres north of Waaia and is just south of the Barmah National Park. Bearii Post Office opened on 10 November 1913 and closed in 1956.

Barmah National Park

Barmah National Park is a national park in Victoria, Australia. The park is located on the Murray River near the town of Barmah. The park was one of four established by the State Government of Victoria in 2009 to protect remnant River Red Gum forest. The other parks created were the Gunbower National Park, Lower Goulburn National Park and the Warby-Ovens National Park.
