Fritzerkogel

The Fritzerkogel is a mountain in the Tennengebirge (Tennen Mountain Range) in the northern Limestone Alps, Austria. With its elevation of 2,360 metres, is one of the higher peaks in the mountain range. Seen from the north it stands out as a relatively isolated, broad summit block, whose mighty rock faces and steep, rugged, rocky flanks fall away on all sides. Its 1,200 metres -high south cliff face is impressive and makes it a striking two-thousander.

Eisriesenwelt

The Eisriesenwelt (German for "World of the Ice Giants") is a natural limestone ice cave located in Werfen, Austria, about 40 km south of Salzburg. The cave is inside the Hochkogel mountain in the Tennengebirge section of the Alps. It is the largest ice cave in the world, extending more than 42km and visited by about 200,000 tourists every year.

Hohenwerfen Castle

Hohenwerfen Castle stands high above the Austrian town of Werfen in the Salzach valley, approximately 40 km south of Salzburg. The castle is surrounded by the Berchtesgaden Alps and the adjacent Tennengebirge mountain range. The fortification is a "sister" of Hohensalzburg Castle both dated from the 11th century.

Hallstätter Glacier

The Hallstätter Glacier (formerly also called the Karleisfeld or Karl Icefield) is the largest glacier in the Dachstein Mountains. It lies immediately beneath the northern foot of the Dachstein itself and runs down to the Eissee lake below the Simony Hut at a height of 2,205 m. To the east the Hallstätter Glacier is bounded by the High Gjaidstein.

Paul-Ausserleitner-Schanze

Paul-Ausserleitner-Schanze ("Paul Ausserleitner Hill") was opened in 1941, and re-built in 2003, and is a ski jumping venue in Bischofshofen, Austria. It is one of the more important venues in the FIS Ski jumping World Cup, annually hosting the fourth and final competition of the prestigious Four Hills Tournament. It is named after Paul Ausserleitner, an Austrian ski jumper who died of the consequences of a fall on this hill in 1952.
