Aigen

Aigen is a district in the city of Salzburg, Salzburgerland, Austria and is known as one of the most expensive residential areas of the provincial capital. It is one of the 24 districts in which Salzburg is organized. The Salzach river is its western border and the municipality of Elsbethen is to the south. Gaisberg Transmitter

Gaisberg Transmitter is a facility for FM and TV-transmission on the Gaisberg mountain near Salzburg, Austria. It was the first large transmitter in Austria finished after the war and started its work on 22 August 1956. It used a 73 metre high lattice tower and broadcast Austria's first radio station on 99.0MHz and third radio station on 94.8 MHz, each with 50 kW, as well as a TV station on channel 8 with 60/12 kW (picture/sound).

Gaisberg

Gaisberg is a mountain to the east of Salzburg, Austria. It belongs to the Osterhorngruppe (a part of the Limestone Alps) between the Lammertal valley and the Wolfgangsee. A public bus route starting from the Mirabellplatz square links the popular destination for winter sport, hiking, mountain biking, and paragliding to the city centre. A 100 m high FM and TV transmitter facilitiy, the Gaisberg Transmitter, which was built in 1956, is located on its top.

Anif Palace

The Anif Palace, also known as Water Palace Anif, stands beside an artificial pond within the Austrian county of Anif at the southern edge of the city of Salzburg. Anif is most famous for its use in several movies, including The Sound of Music and Frederick Forsyth's The Odessa File.

Hellbrunn Palace

Hellbrunn Palace is an early Baroque villa of palatial size, near Morzg, a southern district of the city of Salzburg, Austria. It was built in 1613-19 by Markus Sittikus von Hohenems, Prince-Archbishop of Salzburg, and named for the "clear spring" that supplied it. Hellbrunn was only meant for use as a day residence in summer, as the Archbishop usually returned to Salzburg in the evening, therefore, there is no bedroom in Hellbrunn.
