Burg Mauterndorf

Burg Mauterndorf is a castle in the state of Salzburg, Austria. Mautendorf Castle is built on the site of an old Roman fort that dates to 326 AD or earlier. The fort protected the Roman mountain road from Teurnia to the Radstädter Tauern Pass and Iuvavum (Salzburg) and served as residence for the Roman provincial administrator. The original fort was destroyed during the Great Migration.

Tauern Road Tunnel

The Tauern Road Tunnel is located in the Austrian federal state of Salzburg in Austria on the Tauern Autobahn north - south connection between Germany and Italy and Slovenia. This is a toll road. The toll is 5 euros per car (so a journey costs 10 euros). This tunnel ranks as one of the longest frequently-travelled road tunnels in Austria. The Tauern Road Tunnel in the Niedere Tauern (Low Tauern) region is a two bore tunnel. The first bore was completed in 1975 with total length of 6,401 metres.

Mur (river)

The Mur or Mura is a river in Central Europe rising in the Hohe Tauern national park of the Central Eastern Alps in Austria with its source being 1,898 m above sea level. It is a tributary of the Drava and subsequently the Danube. The Mur's total length is 438 kilometres, of which 295 km is in Austria, 95 km is in Slovenia, and the rest forms the border between Croatia and Hungary. The largest city on the river is Graz, Austria.

Weissbach (Innsbruck)

The Weissbach originates out of the Lepsius tunnel by the abandoned quarry of Hötting on 720 metres above Sea Level. It runs in southern direction by the Englishman tomb to the Hoher Weg where it merges near the old Hungerburgbahn – bridge with the Inn River. The Creek lies in full on the city area of Innsbruck. Although the Creek is only 1.5 km long, it has an interesting point. The water falls down a height of 12 metres and forms the Weissbachfall.
