Cleydael Castle

Cleydael Castle is a moated castle in Aartselaar in the province of Antwerp, Belgium. Parts of the building date from the 14th century. The castle was the home of the lords of Cleydael until the end of the 18th century. It is now a hotel, particularly noted for its golf course.

Schoonselhof cemetery

Schoonselhof Cemetery (Antwerpen Schoonselhof) is located in Hoboken, Antwerp, a suburb of Antwerp, Belgium. Schoonselhof Cemetery has a Jewish section plus War memorials for the graves of 1,557 British Commonwealth soldiers who died fighting in World War I and World War II. The cemetery was mentioned in the TV show GRIMM, Episode 14 of Season 1.

Olympisch Stadion (Antwerp)

The Olympisch Stadion or Kielstadion) was built as the main stadium for the 1920 Summer Olympics in Antwerp. For those games, it hosted the athletics, equestrian, field hockey, football, gymnastics, modern pentathlon, rugby union, tug of war, and weightlifting events. It is currently used as the home ground of K.F.C. Germinal Beerschot, a Belgian football club. It is possible that Archibald Leitch was involved in the design of the stadium having made several visits prior to the Games.

Rupel

The Rupel is a tidal river in northern Belgium, right tributary of the Scheldt. It is about 12 km long. It flows through the Belgian province Antwerp. It is formed by the confluence of the rivers Dijle and Nete, in Rumst. It flows into the Scheldt at Rupelmonde. Towns along the Rupel are Rumst, Boom and Niel. The Rupel is navigable, and forms part of the waterway to Brussels.
