The Olympisch Stadion or Kielstadion) was built as the main stadium for the 1920 Summer Olympics in Antwerp. For those games, it hosted the athletics, equestrian, field hockey, football, gymnastics, modern pentathlon, rugby union, tug of war, and weightlifting events. The Synagogue Shomré Hadas, commonly known as the Hollandse Synagoge (English: Dutch Synagogue). is a modern orthodox synagogue built in Antwerp, Belgium. The building is so named because it was commissioned by descendants of Jews who came to Antwerp from Holland in the early 19th century. It was the first large synagogue in Antwerp. Today the synagogue is used for services only on Rosh Hashana and Yom Kippur.
