Daknamstadion

Daknamstadion is a football stadium in the village Daknam, municipality Lokeren. The stadium is currently used mostly for football matches and is the home ground of Sporting Lokeren. Around 1980 the stadium could host 18,000 people, due to security reasons the stadium's current capicity is 9,560. Since 2008 the board of Sporting Lokeren has plans to expand the stadium with 1,760 places, but the construction hasn't been started yet.

Dender

The Dendre or Dender is a 65 km long river in Belgium, right tributary of the river Scheldt. The confluence of both rivers is in the Belgian town Dendermonde. The Western or Little Dender springs near Leuze-en-Hainaut at an altitude of about 60 to 70 meters above sea level. The source of the Eastern Dender is near Jurbise at a height of 100 meters above sea level. The two rivers meet in the town of Ath.

Grembergen

Grembergen is a town in the municipality of Dendermonde in the Denderstreek in the province of East Flanders in Belgium. It is often confused with the municipality of Grimbergen in the province of Flemish Brabant. The Belgian symbolist painter Fernand Khnopff was born in the Castle of Grembergen (called Hof ter Geesten, the property of his maternal grandparents) in 1858.

Sint-Gillis-bij-Dendermonde is a part of the municipality of Dendermonde in the Denderstreek in East Flanders in Belgium, a typical agricultural village in the Dendervallei near the junction of the railroads to Ghent, Mechelen and Brussels. Sint-Gillis-bij-Dendermonde is birthplace to poet Emmanuel Hiel (1834 - 1894) and literature historian Wies Moens (1898 - 1982).
