Zellik

Zellik is an urbanised town with over 8,000 inhabitants in the municipality of Asse, in the province of Flemish Brabant, Belgium. As a suburb on the northwest edge of Brussels, it is separated from the rest of the agglomeration by the R0 ring road around the city. It is close to the municipalities of Jette, Ganshoren and Sint-Agatha-Berchem, which lie to the east. The official language is Dutch (as everywhere in Flanders). Zellik is home to a minority of French-speakers.

Steenkerque

Steenkerque is a Belgian village 50 km south-west of Brussels, 10 km south of Enghien. Steenkerque is presently part of the municipality of Braine-le-Comte, province of Hainaut, Wallonia. Steenkerque is notable for the Battle of Steenkerque in 1692 during the Nine Years War. A Steinkirk was a type of cravat designed to be worn in deliberate disarray. The fashion apparently began after troops at the battle in 1692 had no time to tie their cravats properly before going into action.
