Waña Quta (Oruro)

Waña Quta (Aymara waña dry, quta lake, "dry lake", hispanicized spellings Huañakota, Huaña Kota, Huaña Khota, Huaña Kkota, Huayñakota, Huaña Q'ota) is a small lake in Bolivia located in the Oruro Department, Sajama Province. It is situated in the Sajama National Park north west of the Sajama volcano at a height of about 4,350 metres (14,270 ft). The lake is a place to discover birds like Andean Avocet, Andean Lapwing, Cattle Egret, Horned Coot, Puna Teal, Ruddy Duck and Yellow-billed Pintail.

Chungara–Tambo Quemado (Spanish: Paso Chungara–Tambo Quemado) is a mountain pass through the Cordillera Occidental of the Andes along the border between Chile and Bolivia. Chungara–Tambo Quemado is one of the principal Chile-Bolivia passes in the central Andes as it connects La Paz with its nearest seaport Arica.

Patilla Pata

Patilla Pata is a stratovolcano in Bolivia. The date of its last eruption is unclear, but it is unlikely to be during the Holocene as the mountain is heavily glaciated. The composition of the volcano is largely andesitic, but there are also a number of basaltic lava flows.

Pomerape

Pomerape is a stratovolcano lying on the border of northern Chile and Bolivia. It is part of the Nevados de Payachata complex of volcanoes, together with Parinacota Volcano to the south. It is of Pleistocene age. Climbing the volcano is alpine grade AD, sometimes on 50+ degree snow/rubble slope. A camp can be established at 5,300 metres at the saddle between Parinacota and Pomerape.
