Vrbanja bridge

Vrbanja bridge is the old name of the Suada Dilberović and Olga Sučić bridge in Sarajevo. The name of the bridge was changed after Suada Dilberović and Olga Sučić, were shot, as the first victims at the beginning of the Siege of Sarajevo. In 1995 it was the site of a clash between UNPROFOR French soldiers and Army of Republika Srpska.

Skenderija

Skenderija is a city center in Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina. It was constructed in 1969 as a cultural and sport center, but was later revitalized and expanded for the 1984 Winter Olympic Games. Below the structure is a shopping mall. It sustained minor damage during the war but because of lack of up-keep is decaying, it is revitalized since 2007. On February 12th, after a record snowfall in Sarajevo, the roof of one of the halls fell in making that building unusable.

National Museum of Bosnia and Herzegovina

The National Museum of Bosnia and Herzegovina (Zemaljski Muzej Bosne i Hercegovine) is located in central Sarajevo, the capital of Bosnia and Herzegovina. It was established in 1888, having originally been conceived around 1850. In 1913, the museum was enlarged by the Czech architect Karel Pařík who designed a structure of four symmetric pavilions with a facade in Italian Renaissance architecture.

Stadion Grbavica

Grbavica Stadium is located in Grbavica, Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina. The football stadium has terraces close to the pitch and it is the home of FK Željezničar. The stadium has a capacity to hold about 16,100 spectators, with officially 8,898 places that are seated. It is also known as the "Valley of Cups".

Sniper Alley

"Sniper Alley" was the informal name primarily for Ulica Zmaja od Bosne, the main boulevard in Sarajevo which during the Bosnian War was lined with snipers' posts, and became infamous as a dangerous place for civilians to traverse. The road connects the industrial part of the city (and further on, Sarajevo Airport) to the Old Town's cultural and historic sites. The boulevard itself has many high-rise buildings giving sniper shooters extensive fields of fire.
