Krasen
Krasen or Krasen Kale is a Bulgarian fortress near the village of Bata in the Pazardzhik Province. It is situated at around 3 km of the village and 6 km to the south of the municipal center Panagyurishte. The castle has been dated to the 10th century AD and is currently in ruins. The remains of the walls reach up to six meters. Krasen Family Krasen is also the last name of an Americanized version of Polish ancestry "Krasinski".

Panagyurishte (Bulgarian: Панагюрище, international transliteration Panagjurište) is a town in Pazardzhik Province, Southern Bulgaria, situated in a small valley in the Sredna Gora mountains. It is 91 km east of Sofia, 43 km north of Pazardzhik, and 37 km south of Zlatitsa. The town is the administrative centre of the homonymous Panagyurishte Municipality. As of December 2009, it has a population of 17,959 inhabitants.

Panagyurishte Municipality
Panagyurishte Municipality is located in the Pazardzhik Province, western Bulgaria. It is one of the 11 municipalities in the province. Its territory is 598,5 km² being fourth in the province after the municipalities of Velingrad, Batak and Pazardzhik. The relief is mountainous and semi-mountainous and is part of Sredna Gora. There are rich copper deposits, with the biggest mines located in Asarel Medet, Elshitsa and Mina Radka.

Apriltsi Memorial Complex
The Apriltsi Memorial Complex (Bulgarian: Мемориален комплекс Априлци) is a large monument situated in the Bulgarian town of Panagyurishte. It was constructed in 1976 to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the April Uprising. It was built on the historical hill Manyovo Bardo which was one of the main positions of the Bulgarian revolutionaries against the Ottomans.

Church of the Holy Mother of God, Panagyurishte
The Church of the Holy Mother of God (Bulgarian: Църква Света Богородица) is a Bulgarian National Revival church in the town of Panagyurishte, Pazardzhik Province. It is situated in the central part of the town separated from the central square by the Town Hall and the Chitalishte Videlina. In the same yards was located the Church of St Theodore which was Panagyurishte's oldest church.
