Santchou
Santchou is a town and commune in Cameroon. It is located in the Menoua division of the West region of Cameroon. It is home predominantly to the Mbo people; this is reflected in the name. Santchou in the local dialect is pronounced San-nzoh, meaning, father (San) of elephants(nzoh). It is located on a plain and it is part of the region known as the Plain des Mbo. It is boarded to the north by mount manengouba to the south by the cliff of Dschang and to the east by Bafang.

Lake Bermin
Lake Bermin (sometimes spelled Bemin) is a small lake in the volcanic chain in the Southwest Region of Cameroon. It is a volcanic lake with a crater rim that rises to a height of about 150 feet . This highly isolated lake is roughly circular in shape, lacks an inflow, but has an outflow into the Cross River system. Despite its very small size, it supports 9 endemic species of tilapiine cichlid fishes. This number of endemic fishes per area is the highest recorded anywhere.
