McMahon Cogeneration Plant is a natural gas power station owned by Atco Power (50%) and Spectra Energy (50%). The plant is located in Taylor, British Columbia. The plant is primarily used to supply steam to a gas processing plant owned by Spectra Energy and power onto the British Columbia Grid through a long-term power sale agreement with BC Hydro.

The District of Taylor is a small town in northeastern British Columbia, Canada, located on mile 36 of the Alaska Highway. Taylor, a member municipality of the Peace River Regional District, covers an area of about 17 km² (6 mile²) with 1,380 residents. As it is just south of the much larger city of Fort St. John, there is a sizable amount of commuting and interaction between the two. The town sits on a terrace 60 m above the north bank of the Peace River.

Peace River Bridge (British Columbia)
The Peace River Bridge is a bridge near Taylor, British Columbia, Canada crossing the Peace River. It replaced the Peace River Suspension Bridge, which collapsed on October 16, 1957. The bridge carries road traffic and is part of the Alaska Highway, designated British Columbia Highway 97.

Peace River Suspension Bridge
The Peace River Suspension Bridge was a bridge near Taylor, British Columbia, Canada crossing the Peace River. It opened in 1943 and collapsed on October 16, 1957 with no injuries or fatalities recorded. When it opened, it was the longest bridge on the Alaska highway at 2,130 feet. When it collapsed, traffic was detoured over the railroad trestle. It has since been replaced by the Peace River Bridge.
