Rural Municipality of Morton

Morton is a rural municipality in the province of Manitoba in Western Canada. It is located in the southwestern part of the province, on the border with the state of North Dakota in the United States. The population as of the 2006 Census was 718 persons, a decrease from 760 persons in 2001. The town of Boissevain lies near the centre of the municipality, but is not administratively part of it. The International Peace Garden is located partially in Morton, along the North Dakota border.

William Lake Provincial Park

William Lake Provincial Park is a provincial park located in southeast Manitoba on Turtle Mountain. Its sister park, Turtle Mountain Provincial Park, is to the west. William Lake has a campground, a beach, and hiking trails. William Lake is home to the Turtle's Back trail, which is known for The Turtle's Back (from the Turtle and the Snake stories).
