For the town, see Ste. Anne, Manitoba. Ste. Anne is a rural municipality lying southeast of Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada. It is part of the Eastman Region and the Manitoba Census Division No. 2. Its 2001 census population was 4,427. The separately administered town of Ste. Anne lies within the borders of the municipality, in its northwestern part.

Dawson Trail (electoral district)

Dawson Trail is a provincial electoral division in the Canadian province of Manitoba. It was created by redistribution in 2008 and was created out of parts of Morris and La Verendrye. Communities in the riding include Ste. Anne, Île-des-Chênes, Lorette, St. Genevieve, Landmark, Richer, and St. Adolphe. The riding's population in 2006 was 19,530.

Rat River (Red River of the North)

The Rat River is a tributary of the Red River of the North in southern Manitoba, Canada. Via the Red River, Lake Winnipeg and the Nelson River, it is part of the watershed of Hudson Bay. The river flowing east to west is found between the Roseau River and Seine River on the eastern side of the Red River. The river flows through the rural municipalites of Piney, La Broquerie, Stuartburn, Hanover, De Salaberry, Franklin, and Ritchot.

Rural Municipality of Taché

Incorporated in 1880, Taché is a rural municipality in Manitoba, Canada. Named after the Bishop Taché (one of the first bishops in Manitoba), it is located to the south-east of Winnipeg, stretching from the Red River Floodway in the west to the beginning of the Canadian Shield in the east. Trees line the Seine River as it meanders through the centre of the municipality and acts as an oasis of old Oak and Elm trees in the primarily agricultural fields of the area.
