Seine River (electoral district)

Seine River is a provincial electoral division in the Canadian province of Manitoba. It was created by redistribution in 1989, and has formally existed since the 1990 provincial election. The constituency is located in the southern section of the City of Winnipeg. Seine River is bordered to the south and east by the rural riding of La Verendrye, to the north by Southdale and Riel, and to the west by St. Norbert. The riding is mostly urban, although it also includes some rural space.

Asper School of Business

The Asper School of Business is located on the University of Manitoba, Fort Garry Campus in South Winnipeg, Manitoba. The school began in 1937 as the University of Manitoba Faculty of Management. The school was renamed in 2000 in honour of Izzy Asper, noted for his many contributions to the City of Winnipeg and the University of Manitoba over the span of his life. There are currently 1,600 B. Comm. students attending The School.

Manitoba College was a college that existed in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada from 1871 to 1967, when it became one of the University of Winnipeg's founding colleges. It was one of the first institutions of higher learning in the city of Winnipeg and the province of Manitoba. The first graduating class had 12 members.

Brandon University

Brandon University is a Canadian university located in the city of Brandon, Manitoba, with an enrolment of 4221 (2008/2009) full-time and part-time undergraduate and graduate students. The current location was founded on July 13, 1899, as Brandon College as a Baptist institution. It was chartered as a university by then President Dr. John E. Robbins on June 5, 1967.
