Algoma Unorganized North Part is an unorganized area in northeastern Ontario, Canada, comprising all areas in Algoma District, north of the Sault Ste. Marie to Elliot Lake corridor, which are not part of an incorporated municipality or a First Nation. It covers 44,077.03 km of land, and had a population of 5,717 in 2006, that dropped to 5,518 in 2011.

The Mamainse Point Formation is a geologic formation in Algoma District in northeastern Ontario, Canada. It is located about 64 km north of Sault Ste. Marie along Lake Superior and consists of volcanics related to volcanism of the Midcontinent Rift System.

Canyon (Agawa) railway station

Canyon railway station is located in the community of Canyon, in the Unorganized North part of Algoma District, northeastern Ontario, Canada. The railway station lies on the Algoma Central Railway (ACR) main line, between Frater to the south and Eton to the north, and is served by the ACR regular passenger train and the Agawa Canyon Tour Train.

Agawa Canyon

The Agawa Canyon is a shallow canyon located deep in the sparsely populated Algoma District in the Canadian province of Ontario. It was created 1.2 billion years ago by faulting along the Canadian Shield and then enlarged by the erosive action of the Agawa River. The Agawa Canyon Wilderness Park is only accessible by hiking trail or the Algoma Central Railway, and is located 114 rail miles north west of Sault Ste. Marie.

Agawa Canyon railway station

Agawa Canyon railway station in Agawa Canyon, Ontario, Canada, is a railway station which acts as the terminus for the Algoma Central Railway train service. The Algoma Central Railway is a subsidiary of Canadian National Railway. The railway provides the option of renting a Canyon Camp Car that has been refurbished for this purpose. The Agawa Canyon Tour train that departed Sault Ste. Marie stops here for lunch (1 1/2 hours during summer schedules) before returning back to Sault Ste. Marie.
