Otterville, Ontario

Otterville is a village in rural Ontario, Canada. Encouraged by local Quakers, free blacks and escaped slaves fled persecution in the United States and found homes in the Otterville area beginning in 1829. It is located on the Otter Creek, in Norwich Township with many historic features including Otterville Mill and Dam, Grand Trunk Station, African Methodist Episcopal Cemetery and a park.

Annandale National Historic Site

Annandale National Historic Site is a National Historic Site of Canada located in Tillsonburg, Ontario, Canada. It was built in 1883 by Edwin Delevan Tillson (Tillsonburg's first mayor, son of the founder of Tillsonburg, George Tillson, and grandfather of adventurer Tillson Harrison) and his wife Mary Ann as part of Mr. Tillson's retirement project, Annandale Farm. The site was designated a National Historic Site in 1997.
