Loring, Port Loring and District is a local services board in the Canadian province of Ontario, located in the Parry Sound District, and by extension, the Almaguin Highlands region. The board administers services in the geographic townships of Blair, East Mills and Wilson and parts of the geographic townships of Hardy, McConkey and Pringle, including the communities of Arnstein, Bear Valley, Ess Narrows Landing, Fleming's Landing, Golden Valley, Loring, Port Loring and Spring Creek.

Snowshoe Lake (Kimikong River, Ontario)

Snowshoe Lake is a lake in the Lake Huron drainage basin in Whitestone, Parry Sound District, Ontario, Canada, about 11 kilometres north of the community of Maple Island, and 15 kilometres southeast of the community of Arnstein. It is about 2.1 kilometres long and 1.1 kilometres wide, and lies at an elevation of 285 metres . The lake drains via unnamed creek to the Kimikong River, and then via the Pickerel and French rivers into Lake Huron.

Wahwashkesh Lake

Wahwashkesh Lake is a lake in Whitestone, Parry Sound District, Ontario, Canada, and is the largest lake in Parry Sound District, with a surface area of 1,721 hectares (4,253 acres) and over 106 km of shoreline. Approximately 30% of the shoreline property is Crown Land. The lake has two distinct basins: (1) the north basin or Top Lake is the smaller of the two, and (2) the south basin is the Big Lake.

Restoule Provincial Park

Restoule Provincial Park is a provincially maintained park in central Ontario, Canada. It is located between Restoule Lake and Stormy Lake and extends along the banks of the Restoule River until its entry into the French River (excluding the banks belonging to the Dokis First Nation). The park is located at the western terminus of Highway 534 northwest of Restoule, Ontario.

Snowshoe Lake (Magnetawan River, Ontario)

Snowshoe Lake is a lake in the Lake Huron drainage basin 2 kilometres northeast of the community of Burton and the Canadian National Railway line in Whitestone, Parry Sound District, Ontario, Canada. It is about 500 metres long and 180 metres wide, and lies at an elevation of 236 metres . The lake drains via unnamed creek to Doctor Lake and into the South Branch of the Magnetawan River, and then either through the Magnetawan, or Harris and Naiscoot Rivers into Lake Huron.
