Yorkville, Toronto

Yorkville is a district in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, well known for its shopping. It is a former village, annexed by the City of Toronto. It is roughly bounded by Bloor Street to the south, Davenport Road to the north, Yonge Street to the east and Avenue Road to the west, and is considered part of the 'The Annex' neighbourhood officially. It is one of Canada's most exclusive shopping districts. In 2006, it was the 22nd most expensive street in the world, with rents of $208 per square foot.

Church of the Redeemer (Toronto)

The Church of the Redeemer is an Anglican church in Toronto, Canada. The small church is prominently located at the intersection of Bloor Street and Avenue Road, near the University of Toronto. It was founded in 1871 when the area was still on the fringe of the city. The Gothic Revival style building opened on June 15, 1879. As with many other downtown churches the Church of the Redeemer suffered from falling attendance in the late twentieth century.

Bay (TTC)

Bay is a station on the Bloor–Danforth line of the subway system in Toronto, Canada. It is located at 64 Bloor Street West at Bay Street. One major amenity of this station is the Toronto Transit Commission's Lost articles office, where objects lost on TTC property are kept.

Annesley Hall

Annesley Hall is the all-female residence at Victoria College, University of Toronto. The residence is located across from the Royal Ontario Museum and is designated a National Historic Site. Built in 1903 in the Queen Anne style, Annesley Hall is the first university residence built for women in Canada. It was designed by architect George Martel Miller. Annesley Hall was home to the first female resident at the University, as well as the first female to graduate from a Canadian medical school.

Museum (TTC)

Museum is a station on the Yonge–University–Spadina line of the subway system in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. It is located at 75 Queen's Park at Charles Street West. It opened in 1963 and is named for the nearby Royal Ontario Museum.
