Quetrupillán

Quetrupillán Volcano is a stratovolcano located in the La Araucanía Region of Chile. It is situated between Villarrica and Lanín volcanoes, within Villarrica National Park. Geologically, Quetrupillán is located in a tectonic basement block between the main traces of Liquiñe-Ofqui Fault (to the west) and Reigolil-Pirihueico Fault (to the east).

Caburgua-Huelemolle

Caburgua-Huelemolle consists of four groups of cinder cones, namely they are Volcanes de Caburgua, Volcán Huelemolle, Volcán Redondo and Pichares. Volcanes de Caburgua is a group formed by six pyroclastic cones located at the southern tip of the Caburgua Lake, which is a lava-dammed lake created by volcanic activity from the just mentioned cones. Volcán Huelemolle is a group of three cinder cones lying between the rivers Liucura and Trancura.

Mamuil Malal Pass

Mamuil Malal Pass is an international mountain pass in the Andes between Chile and Argentina. The pass connects Pucón and Curarrehue in Chile with Junín de los Andes in Argentina. The road is paved on the Argentinian side and passes just north of Lanín Volcano (3,747 metres). During winter the pass may close due to heavy snowfalls. From the Chilean side the pass is accessed through Route 199-CH, branch line which begins at the Panamerican Highway near Freire.
