Zhongshan Sports Center Stadium

It is currently used mostly for football matches and was one of the six stadiums used for the 1991 FIFA Women's World Cup. The stadium has a capacity of 12,000 people. The stadium are all-seaters with multi-color seats. It also has an all-weather track and field surface.

Zhongshan

Zhōngshān, historically known as Xiangshan, is a prefecture-level city in the south of the Pearl River Delta in Guangdong province, People's Republic of China. Zhongshan, one of the few cities in China with an eponymous name, is named after Dr. Sun Yat-sen (1866–1925) who was also known as Sun Zhongshan. Sun, the founding father of the Republic of China, was born in Cuiheng village in Nanlang Township of what was then Xiangshan County.

Pearl River Delta

The Pearl River Delta, Zhujiang Delta or Zhusanjiao in Guangdong province, People's Republic of China is the low-lying area surrounding the Pearl River estuary where the Pearl River flows into the South China Sea.
