Minhang Development Zone Station

Minhang Development Zone is a metro station in the city of Shanghai. This station is the southern terminus of Line 5 in the satellite city Minhang. The zone is about 3.5 km² in size and was opened in 1986. The location is close to the Outer-ringway giving the zone quick access to both airports of the city. The opening of Line 5 has dramatically improved access to downtown Shanghai.

Songjiang District

Songjiang District of Shanghai has a land area of 605.64 km² and a population of 1,582,398 as of 2010. Its main town is Songjiang, connected to Shanghai by Shanghai Metro Line 9. It was Songjiang County until 1998.

Shimao Wonderland Intercontinental

The Shimao Wonderland Intercontinental, or Songjiang Shimao Hotel, is a unique hotel that is currently under construction in Songjiang, China, 30 miles from Shanghai. It is being built on the site of an abandoned quarry and, notably, features some rooms underwater. The hotel is currently in the design stage; though construction has commenced. It is expected to be ready between 2013 and 2015.

Zuibaichi

Zuibaichi (Chinese: 醉白池; pinyin: Zuì Bái Chí; literally "Drunken Bai Pond") is a Chinese garden in Shanghai's suburban Songjiang District that dates back to the Song Dynasty. It occupies an area of 5 hectares and is one of the five ancient Chinese gardens in Shanghai, along the Guyi Garden, the Yu Garden, the Garden of Autumn Vapors, and the Garden of Zigzag Stream.

Songjiang Town

Songjiang Town, formerly rendered as Sungkiang, was a large town and the seat of Songjiang County in Shanghai. In 1998 Songjiang County was upgraded to Songjiang District, and in 2001 Songjiang Town was abolished to become Yueyang Subdistrict (岳阳街道). The town has a Song Dynasty square pagoda and nearby a 4 metres high and 6 metres long Ming Dynasty screen wall, decorated with carvings of legendary beasts that depict human failings and misfortunes.
