Aksu River (China)

The Aksu River is a transboundary river in the Xinjiang province in China and Ak-Suu District of Issyk Kul Province of Kyrgyzstan. In Kyrgyzstan it is known as the Saryjaz River. The total length of the river is 282 km, of them 197 km in Kyrgyzstan. The Aksu River is the only one of the Tarim's source rivers to run throughout the year.

Hotan River

The Hotan River (formerly known as the Khotan River or the Ho-t'ien River) is formed by the union of the White Jade (Yurungkash) and Black Jade (Karakash) Rivers, which flow north from the Kunlun Mountains into the Taklamakan Desert in northern China. The two rivers unite towards the middle of the desert, some 145 kilometres north of the town of Hotan. The river then flows 290 kilometres northwards across the desert and empties itself into the Tarim River.

Yarkand River

The Yarkand River is a river in the Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region of western China. It is one of the headstreams of the Tarim River. It is approximately 970 km (600 mi) in length, with an average discharge of 330 m/s . The river originates in the Karakoram range in the south of the Kashgar Prefecture.
