Salento is a town and municipality in the north-east of the department of Quindío, Colombia. The municipality covers an area of 377.67 km. It was the first settlement in Quindío of the modern era, and the first municipality founded in the department. The town of Salento itself is located 24 km northeast of the departmental capital Armenia. Circasia is a municipality in the northern part of the department of Quindío, Colombia. It is located 7 km north of the department's capital Armenia. Circasia was founded in 1884 by Javier Arias. It became a separate municipality in 1906 when it was separated from Filandia. In 2005 it had an estimated population of 28,800, of which 20,100 live in the main urban zone. The township is situated a short distance from the highway between Armenia and Pereira.

Lake Otún
Lake Otún (Laguna del Otún) is a small lake in the Nevados National Park, in the Risaralda department of Colombia. It located at an altitude of 3,900 m and has an area of 1.5 square kilometres. The lake is of glacial origin and is fed by meltwaters of the Nevado Santa Isabel. Lake Otún is the source of the Otún River, which supplies drinking water to the cities of Pereira and Dosquebradas.

Santa Rosa de Cabal
Santa Rosa de Cabal is a town and municipality in the Risaralda Department, west central Colombia, on the western slopes of the Andean Cordillera Central. It is a commercial and manufacturing centre for the fertile agricultural and pastoral hinterland. Silkworms are raised in the vicinity, and there are silver, gold, and mercury mines nearby. A thermal pool called "Termales" is open for visitors.
