Porta coeli Convent

Porta coeli ("Heaven's Gate" in Latin) is a 13th-century convent (women monastery) located in Předklášteří, near Tišnov, South Moravian Region, Czech Republic, after which the asteroid 3276 Porta Coeli is named. Situated in the valley of the Svratka River, this Cistercian convent was founded in 1233 by Constance of Hungary, widow of King Otakar I. The church was consecrated in 1239 by Bernhard, Bishop of Prague with approval and at presence of Robert the Englishman, Bishop of Olomouc.

Černá Hora (Blansko District)

See other places named Černá Hora. Černá Hora is a market town in the South Moravian Region of the Czech Republic. It has around 1,900 inhabitants. Name of the place (literary black mountain) come from a hill whose vegetation is darker than the neighbourhood. Several trade paths crossed this place. First written mention about the location comes from 1279. Since 1390 it acquired township privileges. In Latin texts the place is called Nigromons or Czernahora in German texts Czernahora.

Lelekovice

Lelekovice is a village in Brno-Country District, South Moravian Region, Czech Republic. It has a population of 1,571 (2006 est.). The asteroid 167208 Lelekovice was named in its honour on the occasion of the 720th anniversary of its founding, by the co-discoverer Kamil Hornoch, whose birthplace this is.
