Virum

Virum is a town in Denmark, located north of Kongens Lyngby on the island of Zealand ('Sjælland') in Region Hovedstaden. It is part of the northern suburbs of Copenhagen. Comprising mostly residential areas, Virum also has lakes, forests and recreational areas. The town is known for the local handball and soccer club, Virum-Sorgenfri. Virum also has its own high school, Virum Gymnasium.

Furesø (lake)

Furesø is a lake in Northeastern Zealand, Denmark. It defined Farum municipality's southeast border and is the site of Nicolai Eigtved's 18th century small pleasure pavilion for Privy Councillor Johan Sigismund Schulin on the Furesø Lake called Frederiksdal Pavilion. Since January 1, 2007, its western part has lain within the Furesø municipality and has a popular beach.

Rudersdal Municipality

Rudersdal Kommune is a municipality in Region Hovedstaden in Denmark. It is situated approximately 20 kilometers north of Copenhagen. It covers an area of 73 km² and in 2008 a total population of 53,869. The Rudersdal Commune building, formerly known as Søllerød Town Hall, completed in 1942, was designed by Arne Jacobsen and Flemming Lassen.
