Purhus Municipality

Until January 1, 2007 Purhus municipality was a municipality in the former Aarhus County on the Jutland peninsula in central Denmark. The municipality covered an area of 169 km², and had a total population of 8,547 (2005). Its last mayor was Berner Nielsen, a member of the Social Democrats (Socialdemokraterne) political party. The main town and the site of its municipal council is the town of Fårup.

Randers Tropical Zoo

Randers Tropical Zoo is a Danish indoor zoo in Randers, Denmark. It is located in three big domes, with the biomes of Africa, Asia, and South America. The domes contain animals from the biomes, and most of the animal live free in the domes. In addition there are many reptiles, a snakeyard with free harmless snakes, and a saltwater aquarium with tropical fish. The zoo started with two domes (Africa and Asia); the third being built later.

Randers Municipality

Randers Municipality is a municipality in Region Midtjylland on the Jutland peninsula in central Denmark. The municipality covers an area of 793 km², and has a total population of 94,750 (2010). Its mayor is Henning Jensen Nyhuus, a member of the Social Democrats. The main town and the site of its municipal council is the city of Randers.

Hvorslev Municipality

Until January 1, 2007, Hvorslev municipality was a municipality in Viborg County in central Denmark. The municipality covered an area of 128 km², and had a total population of 6,900 (2005). Its last mayor was Kurt Andreasen, a member of the Venstre (Liberal Party) political party. The largest town was the town of Ulstrup and the village of Hvorslev was the municipal seat. Hvorslev municipality ceased to exist due to Kommunalreformen ("The Municipality Reform" of 2007).
