Ølgod

Ølgod is a railway town with a population of 3,926 (1 January 2012), at the railroad between Esbjerg and Struer and a former municipality in Varde municipality in Region of Southern Denmark on the Jutland peninsula in southwest Denmark. The municipality covered an area of 247 km², and had a total population of 11,351 (2005). Its last mayor was Erik Buhl Nielsen. On January 1, 2007 Ølgod municipality ceased to exist as the result of Kommunalreformen ("The Municipality Reform" of 2007).

Its elevation is 20 meters, and it is 2.8 km from Ørbæk (one of four Ørbæk's in the country), and 2.1 km from Dyrvig. It is located in Ringkøbing-Skjern Municipality at {{#invoke:Coordinates|coord}}{{#coordinates:55|51|3|N|8|45|33|E| |primary |name= }}, Central Denmark Region, southwest of Herning. The town has an old church and an old schoolhouse.

Hemmet is a small town and a parish in the former Egvad Municipality since 1 January 2007 part of the Ringkøbing-Skjern Municipality, Midtjylland, near the west coast of Jutland in Denmark. Hemmet has a town population of 364 (1 January 2011) and a parish population of 622 (1 January 2011). The word "Hemmet" derives from prior Danish, meaning "The home".
