Idaga Hamus is a town in northern Ethiopia. Misraqawi (or "Eastern") is a Zone in the Ethiopian Region of Tigray. Misraqawi is bordered on the east by the Afar Region, on the south by Debub Misraqawi (South Eastern), on the west by Mehakelegnaw (Central) and on the north by Eritrea. Gunda Gunde
Gunda Gunde is an Ethiopian Orthodox monastery, located in the Misraqawi (Eastern) Zone of the Tigray Region of northern Ethiopia. It is known for its prolific scriptorium and its library of Ge'ez manuscripts. This collection of over 220 volumes, all but one dating from before the 16th century, is one of the largest collections of its kind in Ethiopia.
