Abiy Addi (also spelled Abi Addi; Tigrigna "Big town") is a town and separate woreda in north central Ethiopia, and was capital of the former province of Tembien before that province was incorporated into Tigray. Kola Tembien
Kola Tembien is one of the woredas in the Tigray Region of Ethiopia. It is named in part after the former province of Tembien. Part of the Mehakelegnaw Zone, Kola Tembien is bordered on the south by Abergele, on the west by the Tekezé River which separates it from the Semien Mi'irabawi (North Western) Zone, on the north by the Wari River which separates it from Naeder Adet and Werie Lehe, on the east by Misraqawi (Eastern) Zone, and on the southeast by Degua Tembien.

Hagere Selam (Degua Tembien)
Hagere Selam (meaning place of peace) is a town in northern Ethiopia. Located in the Tembien area of the Tigray Region on the Mekelle-Abiy Addi regional road, it has a longitude and latitude of {{#invoke:Coordinates|coord}}{{#coordinates:13|39|N|39|10|E||| | |name= }} with an elevation of 2625 meters above sea level. Mehakelegnaw Zone
Maákelay (or "The central ") is a Zone in the Ethiopian Region of Tigray. Mehakelegnaw is bordered on the east by Misraqawi (Eastern), on the south by Debub Misraqawi (South Eastern), on the west by Semien Mi'irabawi (Noth Western) and on the north by Eritrea. Towns and cities in Mehakelegnaw include Axum and Adwa, as well as the historically significant village of Yeha and the ancient monastery of Debre Damo.
