Purmo
Purmo is a former municipality of Finland. It was incorporated into the rural municipality of Pedersöre (currently the municipality of Pedersöre) in Ostrobothnia in 1977. Purmo is home to a wooden church built by A. Hakola in 1772. Approximately 1,400 people live in Purmo and like in Pedersöre, they are mainly Swedish-speaking.

Esse
Esse is a former municipality of Finland, now a village of Pedersöre. It has a population of about 3,000 people, of whom approximately 94% are Swedish-speaking Finns and the rest are Finnish-speaking. The village is in the northeast part of Pedersöre municipality. Esse was consolidated to Pedersöre in 1977. The river of Esse flows through the village. This river is one of the last places where the Freshwater Pearl Mussel Margaritifera margaritifera can be found.

Thunderbird (roller coaster)
Thunderbird is the name of the northernmost wooden roller coaster in the world, located at PowerPark in Alahärmä, Western Finland. The two Millennium Flyer trains operating it were manufactured by Great Coasters International (GCI). Thunderbird was the first wooden roller coaster in Europe to be built by GCI. Bennäs is a village and railway station in the municipality of Pedersöre, Finland. It is the administrative center of the municipality, but the biggest population center is Kållby. The village be located in by the side of Ostrobothnia Railway Line. The railway station operates among other things as the station of Jakobstad.
