Saison (river)

Saint-Étienne-de-Baïgorry

Saint-Étienne-de-Baïgorry is a commune in the Pyrénées-Atlantiques department in south-western France, located at the same time in the former province of Lower Navarre. It borders the municipality of Baztan to the west (Spain, access via the Izpegi Pass). It is the main access to the Aldudes valley, having nearby the Castle, Echauz Castle, Château d'Etxauz, the river through the place being kmown as the river Nive des Aldudes.

Lower Navarre

Lower Navarre is a traditional region of the present day Pyrénées Atlantiques département of France. Along with Navarre of Spain, it was once ruled by the Kings of Navarre. Lower Navarre is the portion of territory that remained from the Kingdom of Navarre after the Spanish conquest of Southern Navarre between 1512 and 1524. Its capitals were Saint-Jean-Pied-de-Port and Saint-Palais. In the extreme north there was the little sovereign principality of Bidache.

Gare de Saint-Jean-Pied-de-Port

Saint-Jean-Pied-de-Port or Donibane Garazi is a railway station in Saint-Jean-Pied-de-Port, Aquitaine, France. The station was opened in 1898 and is located at the end of the Bayonne - Saint-Jean-Pied-de-Port railway line. The station is served by TER (local) services operated by the SNCF.
