CHM Montalivet

CHM Montalivet (CHM for "Centre Hélio-Marin", "center of sun and sea"), also known as CHM Monta, is the world's first naturist holiday resort located south of Montalivet, in Vendays-Montalivet, France. CHM Montalivet opened in 1950, and the International Naturist Federation (FNI/INF) was founded there in 1953.

Tour de l'Honneur

The tour de l'Honneur is a tower and the only remain of the château de Lesparre. Located in Lesparre-Médoc, in the Gironde department and Aquitane region of France, it is listed as a monument historique since September 10, 1913. The tower was the main part of a four towers defensive structure, built in the 14th century. A castle previously occupied the site, referred in 12th century documents as « castello quid dicitur Sparra ».

Lac d'Hourtin-Carcans is a lake in Gironde, France. It is the largest lake situated entirely in France. It lies at an elevation of 14 m (46 ft), and has a surface area of 56.67 km² (21.88 sq. miles).

Euronat (naturist resort)

Euronat is a naturist holiday resort near the CHM Montalivet naturist resort, in Grayan-et-l'Hôpital, France. After the success of CHM Montalivet, it was apparent that there was a need for even more capacity. Euronat was founded by Hubert Lacroix (1931-1995) in a pine forest 1 km away from the beach. This is reached on a boardwalk through protected dunes or by a roadway where there is parking near the beach. The whole area is naturist. Euronat opened in 1968-9.
