The Tardes is a 77.3 km long river in the Creuse département, central France. Its source is at Basville. It flows generally north. It is a left tributary of the Cher into which it flows between Évaux-les-Bains and Budelière. Its main tributary is the Voueize.

Fades viaduct

The Fades Viaduct (French: Viaduc des Fades) is a railway viaduct in the Puy-de-Dôme department, central France. At the time of its inauguration on 10 October 1909, it was the tallest bridge in the world, across all categories. As of 2010 it still is the tenth tallest railway viaduct in the world.

Château de Cordès

The Château de Cordès is a castle situated at an altitude of 900m in the commune of Orcival, in the Puy-de-Dôme département of France. The château is privately owned, and open to the public. It is classified as a historic monument and the garden is listed by the French Ministry of Culture as one of the Remarkable Gardens of France.
