Gare de Quillan

Quillan is a railway station in Quillan, Languedoc-Roussillon, France. The station is located on the Carcassonne - Rivesaltes railway line. The station is served by TER (local) services operated by the SNCF. Today the railway line finishes here and resumes in Axat as a museum railway line. The section between Quillan and Axat was closed in 1939.

Château de Puivert

The Château de Puivert is a so-called Cathar castle situated in the commune of Puivert, in the Aude département of France. This building, on top of a hill overhanging the village and its lake, reaches an altitude of 605 m. The site is in the Quercob region, 60 km south of Carcassonne and 45 km east of Foix. The castle has been listed as a monument historique by the French Ministry of Culture since 1902.

Dinosauria (museum)

Dinosauria is a museum devoted to dinosaurs in Espéraza, Aude, a département of southern France. Opened in 1992, it is directed by the association which created it, which is also named Dinosauria. The museum exhibits at least 35 different species of dinosaurs, mounted skeletons or life-size models. It also shows documentary films to the public. The museum collections and rooms include skeletons, paleontological workshops and some other elements.

Château d'Usson

The Château d'Usson is one of the so-called Cathar castles in what is now southwestern France. It is located in the commune of Rouze, in the Ariège département. It is sited upstream from Axat, along the Aude River gorge, carved out of the foothills of the Pyrenees. It is situated at 920 m in altitude and dominates the valley of the Aude River. The Château de Puilaurens is 30 km away, Château de Puivert 49 km and Château de Quéribus 60 km.
