The Château de Luzech (also known as the Tour de Luzech) is a ruined castle in the commune of Luzech in the Lot département of France. The castle dates from the 13th century. The castle is the property of the commune. It has been listed since 1905 as a monument historique by the French Ministry of Culture.

The Barguelonnette (French: la Barguelonnette, also called Petite Barguelonne) is a 35.1 km long river in the Lot and Tarn-et-Garonne départements, southwestern France. Its source is at Villesèque. It flows generally southwest. It is a right tributary of the Barguelonne into which it flows between Montbarla and Montesquieu.

Château de Cayx

The Cayx Palace (Danish: Château de Cayx, French: Château de Caïx) is a residence of the Danish Royal Family located in the wine district of Cahors in southern France. In medieval times the castle formed part of the defences of the town of Luzech due to its dominance of the Lot River. In the 15th century the chateau belonged to the Couderc family, who were notaries in Luzech, and in the 16th century the Courtois family held the lordship.
