Milly-le-Meugon is a village now attached to the city of Gennes, Maine-et-Loire department, France. It is also the site of a castle, which also belonged to the Maillé-Brézé family, a notable family of the French nobility with close ties to King Louis XIII's powerful minister, the Cardinal Richelieu, and to King Louis XIV's first cousin le Grand Condé.

Thouet

The Thouet is a tributary river of the Loire in the Poitou-Charentes and Pays de la Loire régions of France. The Thouet rises at Secondigny, close to the source of the Sèvre Nantaise, and joins the Loire just to the west of Saumur. It is 142 km long, and drains an area of 3,396 km . Glanfeuil Abbey

Glanfeuil Abbey (Abbaye de Glanfeuil, also known as Abbaye de Saint-Maur-sur-Loire), was a French Benedictine monastery in Anjou. The village of Saint-Maur is in the commune of Le Thoureil, in the diocese of Angers and the modern department of Maine-et-Loire. It was founded by Saint Maurus, according to the legendary account of abbot Odo of Glanfeuil, or by Benedict of Nursia himself, the teacher of Maurus.
