Avre (Somme)

The Avre is a river in Picardie and is the principal tributary, from the left side, of the Somme. At 66 kilometres long, it drains a relatively important basin of 1,150 km² but only flows at best 5,1 m³/s near its confluence at Longueau. Its principal tributaries are: the Noye, joining at Boves, the Trois Doms joining at Pierrepont-sur-Avre, the Brache joing at Braches and the Luce river at Berteaucourt-les-Thennes.

Gare de Longueau

Longueau station is a railway station in Longueau near Amiens, France. It is situated on the Paris–Lille railway. Longueau is served by trains of the TER Picardie and Intercités networks. As well as serving as a passenger station, Longueau is also home to one of the North of France's largest engine sheds, which include a roundhouse and turntable.

Noye

The Noye is a river in the Picardie region of northern France. The Noye is located in the northern part of the Picard plateau. It is the left tributary of the Avre river, which is itself a left tributary of the Somme. The Noye starts near the commune of Vendeuil-Caply and extends to a length of 33 kilometres . It flows through the departments of Oise and Somme at Breteuil and Ailly-sur-Noye, reentering the Avre at Boves, 9 kilometres southeast of Amiens.
