La Vallée des Singes

La Vallée des Singes ("The Valley of the Monkeys") is a primate park in Romagne, France. The park is home to primates including gorillas, chimpanzees, lemurs and dwarf monkeys. La Vallée des Singes was founded by Wim Mager who had previously founded the Apenheul Primate Park in the Netherlands in 1971, which is the first free-roaming primate park in the world.

Château de Lusignan

The Château de Lusignan was the seat of the Lusignan family, Poitevin Marcher Lords, who distinguished themselves in the First Crusade and held the crowns of two Crusader kingdoms, the Kingdom of Jerusalem and the Kingdom of Cyprus, and even claimed the title King of Armenia.
