Château de Sauvan

The Château de Sauvan is an 18th century French manor located in the commune of Mane, near Forcalquier in the Department Alpes-de-Haute-Provence in France. The gardens of the chateau are classified as one of the notable gardens of France by the French Ministry of Culture. Privately owned, and classified as a French historical monument since 1957, the Château de Sauvan is sometimes called "The Petit Trianon of Provence," because of its resemblance to that building.

Jardins de Salagon

The Jardins de Salagon are a public park, museum and an ethnobotanical garden located in the town of Mane, in the Alpes-de-Haute-Provence Department of France. They surround the buildings of Salagon priory (12th century) and are classified by the French Ministry of Culture as one of the Notable Gardens of France.

Haute-Provence Observatory

The Observatoire de Haute-Provence (OHP, Haute-Provence Observatory in English) was established in 1937 as a national facility for French astronomers. Astronomical observations began in 1943 using the 1.20 m telescope, and the first research papers based on observations made at the observatory were published in 1944. Foreign observers first used the observatory in 1949, when Geoffrey and Margaret Burbidge visited.

Forcalquier Cathedral

Forcalquier Cathedral (Concathédrale Notre-Dame-du-Bourguet de Forcalquier) is a Roman Catholic cathedral, and a national monument of France, located in the town of Forcalquier, Alpes-de-Haute-Provence. Erected in the 12th century, the cathedral of Forcalquier was a second seat of the Bishop of Sisteron, and for that reason is referred to as a co-cathedral.
