Montfavet

Montfavet is a village of southern France, part of the commune of Avignon, in the Vaucluse département. In southern France, the village is well known for the psychiatric hospital, "Centre hospitalier de Montfavet" located on the Mont de Vergues. Camille Claudel was a patient in this hospital. Georges-Ernest Roux (1903-1981), a postman who lived in Montfavet, founded the Universal Christian Church, claimed to be Jesus, and was famous under the name "Christ of Montfavet".

Cavaillon Cathedral

Cavaillon Cathedral (Cathédrale Notre-Dame-et-Saint-Véran de Cavaillon) is a former Roman Catholic cathedral, and a national monument of France, located in the town of Cavaillon, Vaucluse. Until the French Revolution it was the seat of the Bishop of Cavaillon. The see was abolished by the Concordat of 1801 and added to the Diocese of Avignon.
